Fortitude Fitness was created by Kim Comer-Harris who has been an athlete all her life. She was a three sport athlete in high school and a two sport athlete in college. She was one of three girls who trained at a weightlifting club when girls were told "Girls Don't Lift". Since then she has participated in various mud runs, competed in multiple triathlons, 13k race, and multiple bike challenges. Most recently, she competed in the Moab 240 Endurance Run in Moab, Utah. In 2023, she was inducted into the Kearny Athletic Hall of Fame for both soccer and softball.
Today she balances out those workouts with yoga, stretching and meditation.

Kim began coaching in college where she led a girl's softball team to a championship. She loved sharing her knowledge and passion to help others achieve their goals. Since then, she has coached girl's softball, girl's soccer, boy's basketball, boy's and men's soccer and trained many high school, college and professional athletes in all different modalities.

"My philosophy has always been "stronger together" Whether you work out as a team or an individual, having the right support systems in place makes it easier to reach your goals. I believe that every body is different and finding what works for each individual will add to their success. I believe we are workout partners - we are in this together. Lastly, I believe that the body, mind and soul all must be nourished and strengthened to sustain a healthy lifestyle forever. Therefore, I introduce many different workouts and many different trainers to grow our support system. If I can not help you, I will find someone who can.
